Zirconia crown is one of the most popular restorations. It is very biocompatiable and aesthetic. Pre-shaded zirconia is taking the place of non-preshaded one with its obvious advantages: more natural, more aesthetic. We have all kinds of zirconia brands(FDA/CE approved) for you to make choice.
Zirconia crowns, also known as zirconium dioxide crowns, offer several advantages in dental restoration. Here are the benefits of full zirconia crowns:
1. **High Strength and Durability**: Zirconia crowns are made from zirconium dioxide, a material that is exceptionally strong and durable, allowing the crown to withstand significant chewing forces.
2. **Metal-Free**: Unlike traditional porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns, zirconia crowns do not contain any metal, making them a great option for patients who have metal allergies or sensitivities.
3. **Biocompatibility**: The materials used in zirconia crowns are non-irritating to the gums and oral tissues, causing no allergic reactions and exhibiting excellent biocompatibility.
4. **Natural Aesthetics**: Zirconia crowns have a natural color and translucency that closely mimics natural teeth, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing appearance that is hard to distinguish from real teeth.
5. **Resistance to Fracture**: Even if fractured, zirconia crowns maintain a strong restorative quality, which makes them particularly suitable for creating multi-unit bridgework, overcoming the issue of traditional ceramic systems being unable to be used for long bridges.
In summary, zirconia crowns are a popular choice in modern dental restoration due to their superior physical properties, biocompatibility, and aesthetic results. However, patients should consult with a professional dentist to determine whether zirconia crowns are the right choice for their individual oral health conditions and aesthetic needs.

Digital production of dentures
Hesheng Dental Lab is also working digitally. Professionals know it: perfect dentures can be made in just a few steps with meticulous work! From scanning, milling, and 3D printing to customization and firing, everything is done in our laboratories with extreme precision and the highest level of dental technology. In the digital production of dentures, we use advanced technology: CAD/CAM scanners and milling technology as well as 3D printing processes.
A big practical advantage is the use of the 3Shape Unite app. Here, dentists can easily upload scan data and transfer it to our dental lab – for a smooth workflow. Then we will take care of the implementation.
Steps in the production of digital dentures:
(1) A laser scanner is used to scan the patient's dental impressions.
(2) Intelligent software transmits the data to the milling unit or to the 3D printer
(3) Dentures are milled or 3D printed from ceramic blocks using the latest precision technology.
(4) Machined dentures are hand-adjusted by experienced dental technicians to perfectly match the individually chosen tooth colour and fit.
(5) The ceramics are fired at high temperatures in a sintering furnace.
In the past, impressions were made so that dental technicians could accurately see the relationship between dentition and teeth. If you only scan and no longer use the denture model, you will not be able to check how well your new dentures fit with other teeth. This reduces the quality. With 3D printing, we're safe. This means that we can quickly and easily create plastic tooth models based on the scan data and get more accurate results.Hesheng Dental Lab is also working digitally.
