1、 Fixed dentures Fixed dentures are restorations that repair one or several missing teeth in a dental arch. These types of dentures are called fixed dentures because they cannot be easily removed. 2、 Removable denture Removable dentures utilize the remaining natural teeth, mucosa and bone tissue of the denture base as support, relying on the denture's retainer and base for fixation. Artificial teeth are used to restore the shape and function of missing teeth, while the base is used to restore the shape of the missing alveolar ridge, jawbone, and surrounding soft tissue. This is a self removable restorative material. Generally, removable dentures have a wide range of applications and are relatively affordable, but require long-term adaptation and cleaning after meals, which can have a certain impact on pronunciation and aesthetics.
